Vava'u Blue Water School
Vavau Blue Water School - Sailing and Paddling
No previous sailing or paddling experience is required as all training will be provided by our trainers, open to almost any age!
Help build and maintain sailing dinghies and outriggers as well as paddling outriggers, Learn to swim, sail, navigate, race against overseas sailors every Friday night!

All boats are donated by local and overseas businesses.Sailing has great health and fitness benefits for children. It develops hand-eye coordination, balance and muscle strength, and t gives them a taste for the great outdoors. It helps the mind as well as the body: the thrill of handling a dinghy can do wonders for self confidence. With all these benefits in mind Sail training provides rewarding and exciting opportunities for young people to develop valuable life skills:

We are looking for help from any local or overseas business or donor...
any dinghy, spares, sails, beach launching trailer, a road trailer to move the dinghies or RIB out of the Harbour as required. Matson Shipping in NZ has agreed to discount freight to Vava’u, we are also working with the Ministry of Sports to have customs duty and CT waived for the school.What do sponsors get from this this worthy cause?
Brand recognition – all sponsors names will be sign written on the Schools storage container, the Trailer and if they sponsor a Dinghy it will be on the sail and hull, used on all race and school newsletters.
