2nd Annual Regatta Vava'u and Festival - Sept 22 - 28
Greetings!
The Regatta Vava'u, Inc. orgainizing committee is excited to announce
that Regatta Vava'u & Festival will take place this September 22-28!
Details for the event week, registration, and sponsorship may be found

We are already receiving interest for yacht registration and
sponsorship. We look forward to a fantastically fabulous event week of
festivities!
Here's the Regatta Vava'u Mission Statement:
The Regatta Vava’u & Festival aims to stimulate the local economy by
promoting Vava’u and Tonga as a premier destination in the South
Pacific for tourists arriving by sea and by air. We will accomplish
this by energizing the local business community to work together to
throw a fantastic show and give something back to the visitors who
bring us so much.
Making this event week successful will require the community's help
and cooperation. We would love to hear from you and invite you to
participate. Watch for details to come and if you're interested, let
us know!
Regatta Vava'u, Inc. is a Tongan registered Society with eight
committee members from different aspects of the tourism community. The
2010 committee members are Bruno Toke, Brenda Manceau, Kjell Otto
Stave, Ben Newton, Billy Paul, Lisa Newton, Jason Angress, and Mike

Tongan Companies office is now online and all companies need to re-register before 1 May 2010
Every company (domestic and overseas) registered in Tonga prior to the introduction of the Companies (Amendment) Act 2009 must submit a re-registration form to the Companies Office. This re-registration must be filed within 6 months from the effective date of the Companies Act amendments. Companies failing to re-register within this 6 month transition period will be removed from the Register.
